Custom Sticker FAQ

Roll label questions

Can I send my design before payment?

Yes. Send your roll-label design to sales@sproutstickers.com or use online chat. A digital proof is available without upfront payment. We confirm your requirements and quote before arranging payment.

What are the standard choices?

White or clear labels with gloss or matte laminate; 2-inch round or 2 × 2-inch square; 100 labels minimum per design. Other sizes, shapes and quantities require a quote. Standard clear pricing includes one white-ink layer, as a full underlay or selected spot-white areas.

What about durability and special uses?

Our white and clear roll labels are waterproof, oil-resistant and suitable for refrigerated packaging. For removable labels or a writable surface, state the container surface, removal timing, pen or marker and writing area in your notes so we can confirm the setup.

How long does production take, and is US shipping free?

Production begins after payment and final proof approval and typically takes 3–5 business days after payment and final proof approval. Transit time is separate. Standard US shipping is free for roll-label orders. Rush production is available by request. A single material sample is free, with $7 shipping.

How are labels divided between rolls?

The standard core is 3 inches in inside diameter. Each roll has at least 100 labels and roll allocation depends on label size and total quantity. There is no extra charge solely for more than 100 labels on a roll. Send winding and leading-edge requirements with your design.

See roll-label ordering and production and shipping. The general sticker workflow, multi-design allowance and production estimates below do not replace these roll-label-specific rules.

Artwork & proof approval

05. How do I send my sticker artwork?

Email your file to sales@sproutstickers.com after checkout and include your order number. If an upload field is available when ordering, you can use it instead. Include notes about your border, cut shape and special effects.

06. Which files work for custom sticker printing?

Send your highest-quality original artwork. PNG, JPG, WEBP, PDF, PSD, AI and SVG are useful formats; vector artwork is preferred when available. Read our artwork guidelines before sending your file.

07. Will I see the die cut line before printing?

We review your artwork and prepare a free digital proof showing the planned cut line and layout. Check the size, spelling, border and artwork placement carefully. Production starts after payment and your final approval.

08. How do I request a change to my sticker proof?

Reply to the proof email with the changes you need. For clear or holographic stickers, also explain which areas should be white, transparent or show the special effect. Approve the updated proof only when it matches your instructions. Read about proof approval.

Sticker materials & finishes

09. What are custom die cut stickers?

Die cut stickers are individually cut around the outline of your artwork. They suit logos, illustrations and other designs with a custom shape. Start with our die cut sticker options and check the proposed outline in your proof.

10. What is different about clear stickers?

Custom clear stickers use transparent material, allowing the surface underneath to show through unprinted areas. Tell us which areas should stay transparent and which need white ink; we will confirm the intended setup in your proof.

11. How do I choose a holographic sticker effect?

Holographic stickers reflect changing colors under light. Smooth rainbow, broken-glass and star effects create different appearances. Tell us where you want the effect to show and where you want solid white areas. Confirm the available option and placement before production.

12. How are glitter stickers different from smooth holographic stickers?

Glitter stickers have a speckled sparkle, while smooth holographic material has a more continuous rainbow reflection. Your artwork and white-ink placement affect how much of the material remains visible. Send your design if you need help choosing.
